Hi there - I'm looking to host a home game and am looking for best starter table for purchase via retailer? Would want to be able to host a full ring and ideally circular (not oval shape). Would store in my garage in Texas so would be subject to the elements somewhat.

Thanks in advance for any advice on where to look?

Personally - I know you said not oval - but Barrington, with one of the table toppers to remove the seam during play, can be had for $350ish and be upgraded from there if you want.

Correct. Just now realizing there are oval options that fold too though so that goes out the window.
At your price point a Barrington table is probably your best bet. Just keep an eye on for sales on them. We also have posts here that show you how to replace the felt and foam on them.

That's the conclusion I'm arriving at... Triton looks good but not sure I'm quite ready to pull the trigger on that yet

I would go with the Barrington folding 10 player table. It has been as low as the $240 mark over the summer on places like Walmart and Amazon though its up again at the moment. Likely you can find it under $300 if willing to wait a bit. Keep an eye on both sites as the prices change frequently on these.

Then take the rest of your money and buy a table topper or two from the group buy here which closes out on the 12th:

Finally you can get a cover from Amazon which fits the stored folding table Not cheap but probably worth it if its going in your garage:

Awesome, thanks for link! Will do

I have a 60" round fold up table I got years ago at Sam's club. Bought enough 1/4" closed cell foam to make a pad and my daughter made a green velour table cloth that clinches down underneath. Works great for home games. I like round tables if you are going to pass dealing around with the button.
