Wanted to know what was the best Paulson like Poker chip for Boardgamers.

The Paulson pro series that is listed at Apache Games looks like a good one, but was curious if anyone had any other suggestions.

I bought Apache's bank and Majestic card room poker chips, but I just think they aren't as thick as I would want having owned a collection of most of the current Vegas strip casino poker chips.

Welcome to the forum @Mosspanda what denominations do you typically need for board games?

This is one of those situations where I think 36mm “under sized” Paulsons would work great! They don’t take up a ton of space and you still get the real Paulsons feel, also they typically run cheaper than standard Paulsons.

Here is a cash set that I never relabeled the buy in chips to quarters

They are not brand new but close to mint. The set cost me $430 with shipping plus $150 for the Indian blues… but still a nice set like this one, I would sell mine for $600 plus shipping (I hand cleaned and oiled every chip).

The reason I ask what demons is because they also have higher demons in the 36mm’s for tournament sets.

Sounds like you are wanting closer to new more than like a casino used… most mintyish Paulson are going to cost!

They have Tina chips you will see all over the forum for about $.50 per chip (maybe gone up a bit) if you see the group buys with @justincarothers you will find the Tina chips and probably perfect for what you are looking for.

As always we say “buy samples” and there are enough Tina samples floating around that you should be able to get your hands on some!

Best of luck with your chipping journey!

Thanks so much! I might just buy a sample set and see if if I like it.
