Well in 30 years of playing poker I found what I consider to be the best game I have ever seen. The game is 15/30 kill Congress (Big O). One double board bomb pot on dealer change ultimate high and low. The field is an amazing mix of action junkies, players who can’t read the board and a couple of guys who play well until they take a couple of beats and then open the flood gates. This game apparently goes every day here and gets two games at times.
Here’s where it gets interesting - the game is essentially free to play. There is no time collection and no rake. And it’s 24/7 until the end of the month no when this “promotion” ends and they start taking time collection. What’s the catch? Well there is a $20 one time membership fee. But that’s it. This club has 40 tables and gets almost no action. I’ve never seen anything like it.
Did I mention the free soda and beer ? Amazing !
