I'm thinking about a boys night out this weekend. Road trip to Mohegan? Ive never been to any casinos up here in the northeast. Ive heard most of them suck vs Vegas. Any ideas for a really casual guys night out?

I prefer Foxwoods to Mohegan as there is more likely to be an Omaha game running, but Mohegan is only 15 minutes away, so you can hit both in the same night.

The 1/2 NLHE games are adequately soft and available at both.

and twin rivers i heard has been good too since their poker room opened, cant comment though as i havent been

started as a slot parlor. then they added table games maybe 2 years ago. now they added a poker room 9 months ago or so

my dad loves. he likes table games and slots. said its super clean

What at the smallest games you can play? $1/$2?

And these are sit and go cash games?

To me the expression sit and go implies an unscheduled tourney, but the games I listed are all cash games.

A guy I work with plays quite a bit of 2/5 at Twin River, says the games are still pretty soft. I'd imagine that the 1/2 games are pretty soft, too ... been meaning to get down there, still haven't pulled it off yet, though.

Mohegan offers a 1/1 nlhe game in addition to 1/2 nlhe and 2/4 limit. Doesn't get any lower at any of the casinos. Been to Twin River once and it was soft. That was mid day on a Tuesday.

Reason to check out twin rivers now. Surprised there is poker there, and expect it to be soft. 1-1 at Mohegan is too shallow and so meh.
