It’s not that they don’t work well, they just don’t look as good bc you have a black border sitting inside the rail vs. no black border which looks way cleaner. Also, sewn edges don’t seem to lay as flat. The ones they I’ve seen that are sewn tend to ripple slightly around the edges. It ultimately comes down to personal preference

I should say, though, the tops in this sales thread are the original China versions right @Pinkdan? They’re the thicker 5mm ones, so the ripple might not be an issue.

I wouldn’t say better.

Some pros:
Thicker, more padding, heavier

Some cons:
Print quality, colors not as crisp. Less consistency. Also had to order a minimum of 25 and, well, ship on the boat from China which was slowwww
