Hey everyone, I'm looking to start hosting tournaments so I need to buy a couple poker tables. I'm looking for something on the cheaper side. I'm looking for 8-10 seater and would much rather oval shapes. It also has to have folding legs and preferably cup holders as well. Probably willing to spend $500 AUD max for 2 tables but obviously the cheaper the better. I'm on a tight budget so getting tables and chips are the priority, quality is second. I've looked at FB marketplace and have had no luck.

Was just looking for advice from any other Aussies or anyone else out there:
1. Where did you get your table?
2. What would you recommend for my circumstance?
3. If I bought a wrecked cheap table off FB marketplace how hard/expensive would it be to restore it with no experience?

Thanks

Maybe you could take a chance and construct a couple from scratch?
That's an interesting idea but I also don't have any tools. Are there any guides on here you could recommend if I tried?

I'm no expert, but many years ago a table builder named Scott Keen had websites and videos for DIY table advice. There are lots of build threads on PCF where enterprising amateurs have detailed their processes and tools.

I take the easy route and buy stuff off @T_Chan

Has anyone ever bought tables from china?

I got this one from Amazon. It’s an 8 seater and at $255 it’s in your price range.

I bought the blue one but it’s an extra 10 bucks. I find it to be good quality and sturdy.
That's the exact one I was looking at. You'd recommend it? Could you maybe send some photos? Cheers

I’ll get you some photos tomorrow. But, yeah I’m pretty happy with it. The cushion could be cushier but it’s not bad. Being foldable is good for space saving but I think a quality table topper would add the finishing touch to cover the centre line.
