Yes, my intention was to have it run from Sunday to Sunday; what I did not realize is that the auction would be visible during this time frame, but here we are
I find 2 or so day auctions bring the best action. Week long auctions will lose steam and action unless everyone waits until the last day and hour to bid. This is a nice set and with the advanced notice people would be ready to do their bidding on the weekend. Just my thought and experience.

Noted! This is my first auction so I trust your experience and will keep it in mind if I have the chance to do another auction. At the end of the day I'm happy if it goes for the starting price, as both the original seller and I had no idea the value of the set, so someone here might get lucky if folks lose interest.
Not a slight at OP, but couldn't agree more. There's not much point in having auctions last longer than 48hrs, especially now if you can pre-schedule the starting time.

One solution is that you both send money and chips to a trusted third party, of which there are many here on pcf.

excellent, I'm good with this route. Can anyone here recommend a trusted intermediary?
I'm also open to accepting PayPal goods and services (thanks @kuat for the suggestion), but Seller would split the 3% fee with me 50/50. (so for $2200 seller would add $33).
For those interested in my location for in person pickup, I am in Pacific Beach San Diego currently, though (as mentioned) I live in my van full time. Going to take a picture with the chips and my user name in an hour or two, as well as a video to introduce myself (ai can do all sorts of things these days, so I figure the more the better).
