"Questions welcome."

Since they're explicitly welcome, here are my questions:

1. Were you active here when these were exactly the sort of chips that members used to contribute to circulating grab bags, back when CT and then PCF were all about actively participating members building sets of chips, preferably playable, instead of just gouging money for their stray junk?

2. Have you ever posted anything to PCF that is not directly or indirectly linked to your selling chips? (Well, there was one from January that mentioned playing at Foxwoods, but it's main purpose was to ask about cleaning chips so that you could get higher prices..)

3. Do you have any idea why the proprietor of PCF has not yet classified you as a business and required you to pay to post?

Hi Pltrgyst,

Some replies...

Sorry, I've been a member since Jan '23 (just over a year). I'm not aware of any history before that. I was invited to join PCF by other members of the site. I have a large collection of obsolete chips from a variety of casinos. I'm downsizing my collection by offering some chips for sale. I wouldn't consider it "gouging money for stray junk". I'm very sorry that you feel insulted by my classifieds posts.

Yes, I do have a variety of posts. But again, I'm downsizing my collection so many posts are related to that effort. At the same time, I'm learning a great deal from the many excellent PCF members here who have been so helpful.

I am not a proprietor. I'm not in the business of buying/selling chips. I'm a collector downsizing my set of chips. At some point, I have plans to invest in a custom set of chips for my home games in the future. But I'm not quite there yet. I'm so grateful to the many PCF members whom have given me an education in chip history and collecting. As a result, I'm able to make much more informed purchasing decisions when the time comes.

Cheers,
