I got these thinking I would use them for a $1 or a fractional in a "Milling Project." They came to me pretty dirty, but have been cleaned by me with "Diamond Chip Cleaner" I carefully scrubbed around the edges being careful not to damage the Hot Stamps any more than they already were. I think they look really nice for chips that are most likely 50 yrs old or so. Beautiful Old School Chips! These would make a great milling project or just use them as they are - especially if your first or last name starts with the letter "A"
I would grade these as average according to the Official CC>CC Chip Grading Standards. Here is what it says for Average: Typical chip found in play after months/yrs of use; slightly rounded edges; will have minor defects such as small nicks on edges; inlays are beginning to show even wear and about half of the cross hatching has worn from the body surface; hot-stamps have dulled, beginning to show even wear and may be missing a small amount of foil. Pictures are pretty accurate and the one individual one I pictured is pretty average. You won't be disappointed.
