This past weekend, I hosted my 1st ever home poker tournament and I hit a Grand Slam!
Just want to say thank you to everyone that answered my many questions.
Many of the guys thought they were coming to a "guy's" night of poker in the garage where someone would use their watch and inform everyone when the blinds would go up.
Nope! This was a world class event and I knew I had only 1 chance to make impression.
Special thanks to David Spragg and helping me with my special order of my tournament chips. They were a massive hit and everyone was truly impressed with the quality. They truly were the talk of the tournament. I need more now and some of the 44mm higher denoms.
Special thanks to the "Ultimate Poker Timer" site. This (outside of the chips) helped seal the deal to impressing all.
Everyone that came wants to do this again and word of mouth hopefully brings my tournaments to 30-40 people. Already have plans in the works for a Fall Classic and Winter Bounty when I'll use the bounty chips.
Again, all your help in this forum was instrumental to the incredible success and aspirations I have for the future.
