After some thought, I am ready to do this.
I am offering a 1200 (or maybe 1180 -- see below) ASM FDL Royal Cardroom set. This is the last of my big set.
- Brief History -- Back in the day on the blue wall, Josh, MarkC79 and Miandish were going to offer a hot stamped Grand Cardroom set on the FDL mold. At this time, the FDL mold had been put on the shelf, and was not going to be used for general orders. This large group buy had several thousand chips accounted for, until Jim at ASM determined that it was too difficult to hot stamp the chips without error. At this point, the project was scraped, but Jim allowed us to go with a group designed inlay on the FDL for solids only. I took over the GB, as the original trio didn't want to continue. With this buy, we also introduced the idea of weighted DG colors (which, in some cases, was a bad idea). As a result, we added Weighted DG Green, Peach, and Yellow chips.
As time moved on, I hated the weighted DG peach chips, and decided to replace them with DG Yellow (as it was the only other yellow than "yellow" at the time). I also added the spotted T5 chip to use as a bounty chip for my monthly tournaments.
Since I have 2 solid tournament sets, I feel that one needs to move on. This set contains the following:
100 x T5 mandarin Red (with black and yellow spots)
300 x T25 (this is a mix of Weighted DG green and some DG green)
300 x T100 black
150 x T500 Retro Lavender
200 x T1000 DG Yellow
110 x T5000 Light Blue
40 x T2500 DG Pink
I may have a few extras laying around that will also be included.
I would like to keep a barrel of the spotted T5, but I can understand if the full rack is needed. I could also just remove that rack if the buyer likes, and reduce the final price.
Another note, I do not own the artwork for this, as it was created by a member on CT that is no longer active. I don't have any active email or phone number for him either. Given that, if you would, as the owner, like to add on to this set, or remake any chip specifically, you are more than welcome to use the artwork. I believe it is still on file under my name with CPC/ASM, and I have no problem approving it if needed. I just cannot provide full ownership, as it is not mine to give.
I will start the auction at $.50 per chip. These chips were used monthly for about 3-4 years, but are still in great shape. Some show slight signs of wear, but all will stand on edge.
Shipping is not included in this auction. Shipping to the CONUS will be 2 medium flat rate boxes ($28) Shipping international is not my preference, but I will do so under the following conditions: You will pay for the full price of shipping. Payments will be made friends and family, and once the chips ship out, they are your responsibility. I will put the value as the final selling price. If you would like insurance on the shipping for that value, you are also responsible for that.
I also have 12 67.7 racks that accommodate these chips perfectly. These can bee added at $5 per rack, and will be shipped in a large flat rate box for $20. Again, international shipping will need to be picked up by the buyer.
