Bulbasaur, Charmander, would make it too "mainstream" imho. Growlithe is my favourite pokemon though.

@LeGold plastic parts tend to yellow. See old keyboards, old video game consoles, ... If they are stored the same way and not exposed to daylight, I wouldn't have expected big differences thought.
