    Faded Spade Cards

I have quite a few of their setups and I’m on the opposite end of the spectrum to Eriks. I like them, we rotate the dealer /shuffle behind so it’s not a big deal to me that they are stiffer. If I was permanently dealing for a 5-6 hour game then yeah it’d make a difference and would definitely...

    Greetings from St Louis Missouri

Although they don’t get a lot of love on this forum, IMO the Nexgen Remix Pro are a nice step up from the Yin Yangs and are my go to set for my 2 table home tourneys due to their affordability and I’m not worried about losing chips. I like their more “traditional” chip face and edge spot design...

    Cellulose acetate recommendations

I can attest that they don't warp. As I noted before though, it's funny that their packaging doesn't mention about their being acetate (not that it says much AT ALL)

What are the best plastic cards money can buy?

This was a great pic - thanks - really shows the different styles well. Wanted to know which was which and now I have that I thought I'd may a well annotate for others who may be as clueless as me. I hope I got them right :)

Broken Arrow First Impressions and review

agreed, they go out of rotation pretty quick for us when we have faded spades and copags in play. wish I got the green and blue to fully compare but so far the 2 setups I ended up grabbing have been difficult to keep in rotation. I am liking bridge size tho as it's my first bridge setup.

    Looking for Help Identifying Cards

I have asked that very same question myself in the past, and unfortunately I didn't get many great answers. A couple of people cited the fact that a number of years ago Phil Ivey was able to cheat at multiple casinos with full-bleed (i.e. "borderless") cards using a method called "Edge Sorting"...

Am I the only one that is truly happy with Copag cards?

@Phyffe did a decent review of 8 different decks. I use 10 different setups, and had thought about an in-depth review thread. While the "best chip" is generally accepted (Paulson or TRK), it becomes much harder to determine the best deck as some people like stiff cards, some like cards that flex...

    Poker vs Bridge Size

I actually already posted this exact point, so we are not in disagreement. The difference in poker vs. bridge width is small for pitching, though probably not as low as .01%. More importantly, and as already posted: ChatGPT found that (1) dealer technique followed by (2) the cupping of a card...

Completed Help Me Create A Premium Deck of Poker Cards!

Project status update: Artwork: more or less ready to go, have some iconography etc. for the box, just need to drop it onto the final print template & decide on Poker vs Bridge size (Bridge would require adjustments of all the artwork which would take a while but no biggy really) at this stage...

Completed Help Me Create A Premium Deck of Poker Cards!

Will Kuo Kau commit to use the same stock and printing process as Marion Pro? If they do and if their price is do-able with reasonable MOQ they may be your answer. I haven't heard this crowd say anything bad about Marion Pro. I really like them.

Broken Arrow First Impressions and review

The black and gold as well as the poker sized orange and purple…that same design for the face of the cards are incredibly difficult to decipher between the suites. Spades look like clubs and diamond almost resemble the hearts. Even with close proximity. A lot of my players have the same...

    Le Shuffler?

Hi @Eriks, definitely keep an eye on this thread, I will keep you all posted. (And I confirm that LeShuffler uses indifferently poker and bridge size cards, only difference in performance is that narrow cards are about 10% faster)

    Bridge vs Poker? Let's argue!

Tell what you like better and why. As a magic the gathering player my hands are so used to poker size cards that all the bridge ones I have felt feel disgusting and alien. Granted, the poker size I've felt are faded spade, while the bridge ones are copag (i think I've felt copag poker size...
