This is a good point. Smooth running tables would reduce newb stress/confusion. More likely to return.

I agree with you regarding most pros, but Mikey’s kinda special. I heard him and Daniel on a podcast together a couple of years ago, and he literally couldn’t answer the question “how many combos of AK are in the deck?” But I digress. (And I’m always rooting for Mike.)

I think you'd be right a decade ago, but the man's been playing poker professionally for decades on and off, he knows what SPR is. Lot of pros want us mooks to think its all tells and feel, but they've spent time studying.

I don't think its paradoxical. These games thrive on whales and mooks that have no idea what they're doing, its very boring for casuals to watch if its just a bunch of pros playing tight GTO poker, no one would watch; they need whales to win with crazy insane bluffs so they can share it on...
