Well, this is embarrassing. I considered this one of my biggest chipping failures and now I'm sharing it with you.
Story time:
The original is Bellagio hot stamp $1. I chose this chip because I love the color, it works well with the DJ 1s and 5s, AND the hot stamp version is on the RHC mold like the rest of the DJ chips. It's truly a match made in heaven... on the poker table.
My goal was to mill off the hot stamp and label them as you see above.
HOWEVER, I tired to mill them myself. I am not good at milling. So, these chips are milled to different depths, most of these chips are slightly warped, and I used cheap quality labels and some are peeling off.
Don't get me wrong, these are just fine to use in your game. I just used them in a game this weekend (which reminded me to get rid of them). The chips themselves are fairly sharp, being harvested a few months after the hot stamps were released. Cleaned, but still casino used.
I figured that someone could do something with them, as I don't want them around to remind me at how bad I am at milling.
Starting bid is only 1¢ per chip!
The auction gallery shows additional pics of the sides that show the chip warping; the bad mill job; and the low quality labels. Make sure to look at their majesty.
As a bonus, there is at least one chip that has the inlay where the pips match the color of the chip stripes.
