The Official Unofficial Chip Hoard Showcase Thread of PCF! (28 Viewers)

It has been a while but will have to post a chip family picture in February when I will get all my chips out of storage and into the new home. In the meantime...

Does this qualify as hoarding?

That's not hoarding, that's boarding for homeless spotted birds.

dwarfed by many in this site, but slowly filing up the table....

Wow! Nice collection. I don’t think I have seen than many PNY $1’s anywhere.

If you decide you don’t need 3 racks of the Empress $100’s @Hornet or I will buy one from you, we are kind of sharing a rack right now, but we each want our own lol.

This is beyond incredible, but am I the only one that asks, “Why??”
I see a couple great 5/10 limit games, and a 25/50 (though out of my price range) table or two, and still room for a table or two of NL or Pot limit.

Why is not the question.

When... as in, when is the meetup?

Why all the $1s and fracs then? I’d love to see the game pictures of those stakes being played, but I think we both know that’s not happening.

I guess we just see it differently. When I look at it, I think how many others could have nice, playable sets out of all that.

Fracs and $1s are perfect for hosting a couple tables of NL.

IIRC, Gopher lives in a tiny (well, average size for the area) Brooklyn apartment. No way there would be game pictures unless he moves.... and nobody willingly moves out of Brooklyn.

That said, I too would rather see chips in play and not sitting on a shelf, but he may have plans we don't know about. Which brings me back to....

To commemorate the new set I decided to build a stack; however my kids were bouncing around and the vibrations caused a calamity!

No casualties at least...

The first pic is what remained:

Took an hour and a half to clean up. All are safely back in their beds:
