What are those?!? Hollywood Park Casino Chips (1 Viewer)

Can someone please tell me more about the chips from Hollywood Park Casino in California? Who makes them, weight, size, feel, etc. Are there any out in the wild? I’ve seen these on Instagram and they sound and look nice.

They are Bud Jones and they are horrible. Barrels suction together and are hard to split out. The lower denoms are especially sticky. Many of the $1 inlays actually have terrible discoloration, and 1 out of every 10 chips is cracked. They're awful.

They are hard to break in for a home game set, but for casino used, they don't have the severe suction effect.

I should say that this is not a scathing review of all bud jones chips, just about Hollywood Park. I will say that the big 3 socal rooms all use the same type, more or less.

The most reasonably harvestable chips at Hollywood Park is the $1, as they have several blue chip games going daily. But as of my last trip there a week ago, on top of what I had said above, 10-15% of the inlays on the $1 looked like they were soaked in coffee at some point.

I play at Hollywood Park. They have the cheap plastic kind of chips. You don't want those. Pechanga has the best chips in southern california IMO.
