Hello..New Guy From Michigan (5 Viewers)

Just wanted to drop a post to say hello.. I play and host cash games with friends and family..I have been aware of this community, but not to the depth that I've discovered in lurking over the past few weeks..I am a shoe collector and have tried to avoid other collecting vices because tend to jump in head first..lol My first set was a Apache sample set i got a few years ago, but managed to not get in too deep..I purchased a small Valentino cash game set from ABC..I like ceramics, but have been struck with the defunct casino Paulsons..Thanks for all the knowledge and tips I have recieved already by reading forums and will continue to learn..Happy to be here..

I live in Orange County, California these days... but I grew up in Traverse City, graduated from Michigan State (miraculously without any hate for the Wolverines) and go back as often as I can to be surrounded by family and nature's beauty. I would love to get together with some PCF guys back there in the summer time.

Have been living here for almost 20 years and managed to stay smack in the middle myself. Although I'm a UPenn grad, so a little easier for me.

I was born in California but grew up (from age 4 or 5) in Michigan. My parents met at MSU. 5 of 7 siblings in my mom's family went to MSU. I love MSU! But I love being a Michigander too, and there have been some tough times around there. I'm a firm believer in the value of a good education, and in the value of having good schools in your community. U of M is a great school. I respect that (more so than the athletics). So, I root for them too as a way of rooting for the future of my people. But if we were playing U of M, make no mistake about it... I'm a Spartan through and through!
