It feels great to be back! I found PCF around this time last year when I was looking to upgrade my "dice set" of poker chips. I quickly became overwhelmed with all the information that was available but everyone was great answering questions (for probably the 100th time) but it was all helpful. I ended up getting a 400 piece tournament set of Majestics and they have been great.

2019 goals are to add a cash set to the mix (possibly a clay set but most likely another china clay and build a poker table for myself. I've built some basic ones for 2 other games I played in but now its time to build my own. I just gave away the table I was using for the game I was hosting (not often enough) so that will force me to make it a priority. Everyone here was very helpful with all the questions I had when gathering info for building plans and material selection.

It's just good to be back and catch the poker chip bug again. See you guys around!

Welcome, back, @IaHawk!

I probably asked you before, but where in Iowa do you live?

Best minor league stadium I've been in (only one).

It's certainly nicer than Burlington's, but I'm just glad to have pro baseball in town. I'd love to check out Modern Woodman (is that right?).

Welcome back. Get to work on that table, and post pics!

And google says you’re only a 2:30 drive to my place! :)

Ha, I was just looking through my messages and all the information you provided @Trihonda ...thank you!!! I'll be sure to start a thread for my build, I just need to "re-familiarize" myself with all the materials I need and what I want the build to look like. I know before I was leaning towards the Burgundy felt but might go custom....we shall see!

I remember the MTTD, I was planning on making it up for there for a day but my son had a tournament that weekend. I'll take a look at the dates now and RSVP if I can. I'm looking through last year's posts right now and it looked like a great time.
