Just finished taking the kids around. Over the past few years there have only been a handful of kids that come around. This year I don’t have the good fortune of 99% of the candy being left over, maybe they just took more than one as we left the bowl unattended as we took the kids around.

Nice Forrest. My in-laws have been giving away the full sizers for 20+ years. They've had to buy substantially more inventory since technology has made it easier for the kids to instantaneously communicate with each other. Word gets out quick

We tried to take our 3 year old out tonight and had to do a trunk or treat at the local church and had like 5 houses on the street (of which there is a few hundred) actually giving out candy. Very disappointed for my kiddo tonight as he wanted to run from house to house

After a successful circuit around the block the little ones are tucked in their beds. Dad's on his third buttered rum. In the case of my five year old she went down an hour before her normal bedtime and three hours before she normally falls asleep (yep, we're in that phase right now). Sweet dreams of the Candy Witch work wonders. Second only to Santa Claus. Now I need to think of something for the other 363 days of the year.
