Me 2 hours before game time: okay I need to clean the basement. Pick up food. Shower. Buy snacks and drinks. Take out the trash. Do dishes. Set up table. Find cards. Do laundry and make up the guest bed. Move the pool chairs so people can get to bathroom.

Hung out with some friends yesterday to watch the Texas vs Texas A&M game and got a game going afterwards. We did our usual scarney, big O, hold em, and draw2maha rotation. Had a lot of wine and a lot of laughs but forgot to take more pictures. In for $140, out for a little over $400.

@Flopalopagus runs a spotless game! Tournament was tough on me, had some good thin values and bluffs but my pocket aces in back to back hands were both cracked by river gutshots. Knew I was way ahead, good pressure, but can't be too mad about them hitting the one card they needed. Tough for morale! But had fun, great group.
Cash afterwards to the early morning, made a few bucks back and had fun doing it. We taught someone how to play Archie and he was dealt two pat hands, one high then one low. Think he likes it.
Someday I'll leave with more money than I came with, but it won't be anytime soon.

Pre-Thanksgiving cash game. Host announced HOPE at one table, dealers choice at the other. I got a seat at the HOPE table. He agreed to an orbit of DC if we added a second orbit of Holdem. So we played HOPE+H+DC.
