Ohhhhhh...you want the gray 5k chips? You say they'll complete your set? Perhaps they'll show up in an auction somewhere.

Do you have the chip pr0n of all chip pr0n photo for yourself of all the chips laid out at once?
TCR is working on it.

PCF is like....

I am 100% certain that is true, i.e. that they look better IRL. Those pics are not photos -- they are scans, made with a scanner that is incapable of capturing the colors even close to correctly. (Not my scans, but they have all the hallmarks of CIS vs CCD scanners.)

Not sure if you know, but the technologically advanced Chip Guide already ruled on this:
Most collectors have scanners and send a scanned image of their chips. Some collectors send pictures taken with a smartphone. Scanners provide a more accurate image of the chip.

Also..
The earth is flat.

i have to imagine the dark purple replaced the light purple for dirty stack issues with gray
Probably the other way due to the dark purple being dirty stacks with the 100s.

The condition of the dark purple look unused too.

This is correct. The light purple were in play which still caused a lighting issue depending on what tournament area you were playing in. If you were up on the stage in the Earl Turner theatre room under the lighting, the grays and purples looked IDENTICAL since the lighting washed out the chips.
