Never ceases to amaze me that these chips get delivered without a shipping notification. Every online vendor in the world offers tracking for shipments. But we can't get it when we purchase thousands of dollars worth of merchandise?

I agree with everyone that notification should be received from CPC, but there's ways to stay aware of packages that are heading your way.
If you guys don't have informed delivery delivery for USPS set up go do that. Also create accounts in UPS My Choice and FedEx Delivery Manager to tell you when packages are heading your way from them.

Is this something new? I've placed four custom orders from 2017 to 2021 and received shipping notification each time. The only times I didn't was when ordering samples.

I get UPS and FedEx notifications, but my last (smaller) add-on was shipped USPS and it just showed up out of the blue. There’s no reason for that. They have our info. Just give us a heads up for crying out loud.

If you're signed up for USPS My Choice you will be notified. I got a text notification and could see the weight and that it's coming from Maine. Sig required...easy enough.
Interesting... mine were all USPS shipments and I never signed up for informed delivery either. It's a good thing I was notified because my last order was supposed to be sent to Canada instead of my USPS PO Box, but it was mailed to the latter in error. Had I not known it was on the way, it would've been eventually returned to CPC.
I got a USPS click-n-ship notification for my first order in 2023, but I didn’t get one for my second order in 2024.
