Missed the first hour but watching now, GL @Windwalker!

Is Krish on Hustler now?

Oh, havent watched in months, but watched a past stream last night and it was a snoozer. The night before I watched a Bike stream and wasn't into it. The lighting in particular was killing me.

Who is playing?

LOL, I saw "premiere" and assumed it was a new one. And of course he posted that he's heading to London, so being on HCL tonight would be hard.

Man, I'm going to bed. My brain is just not working today at all.

Actually I literally got confused the same way. When I opened the Youtube app on my tv there was a Hustler stream recommended to me. I could have sworn it had said "live" and something "like X people watching" and Krish was on there. But there was also that gnarly homeless looking tatted dude and I knew I had seen that episode before and figured it out. Then I caught a 5 day old stream with Garrett on it instead.

It is live, but the show is a rerun. So all the people watching are watching live you can chat live, but the thing is old episode. Same all week

I'm surprised that nobody saw or mentioned this yet.
Coming very soon to a PokerGO subscription near you!

If you didn't get enough of Eric Persson or Krish on HSP, there is a new show premiering on PokerGO on the 28th.
Looks like players also include Patrick Antonius and JRB.

Is this a heads up game?
I wondered the same thing. It doesn't really say.

It reads like a full table playing No-Limit.
The episode preview shots only show two player images, but the player list appears to be longer:

For TV wise, I going to think full table with more people will get a higher rating than head-up matches

I don’t really enjoy the latest high stakes poker season, so many basic information are missing

For example, I had no idea who is winning or losing and by how much with PokerGO only showing the Stake size

HCL are doing a much better job with a smaller budget and doing it without the paywall too

Anybody watch the first episode?

Pretty much very quickly became tired of the hosts, especially Hanks.
Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt were both awful together.

The players seemed somewhat disinterested, even Persson, and JRB.
It sounded like whatever game Persson and Hanks continued to talk about was more entertaining than the first episode.

The set was stark and harshly lit. The prop bet element was stupid, disconnected from what was happening at the table, and seemed like the hosts were trying to force feed the concept into the show.

I'll watch the next one, but it's a tough watch.

Personnel Opinion

It just a remake of High Stake Poker with lesser known name with all the same flaws like no useful stats, so many basic information are missing

Also plus a rotation of the MC as well

So Same formula - Just replace the crew and player and rename it differently but with no improvement
