I think this is where I am landing.
I like it better if you switch spot patterns as follows:
$100-->$25
$500-->$100
$25-->$500

Right. When @TX_Golf_N_Poker gives this thing a high score because he likes purple and yellow - yeah, but how do you feel about lavender and canary?
It's Daisy and Orchid. I guess we'll see when I have them in my hands. From the pics I've seen so far, I like them... Doesn't mean anyone else has to. In fact, I'm better off if you don't. I'm sure there are a metric Sh#!-ton of them. So they will be easy to get all I want.

You still planning on a T5 tournament set?

Yeah it’s funny that people are joking around with the reverse psychology business. As far as $1s to $500s go, I’m sure there’s enough that anybody acting quickly can get exactly what they want.

The 4W spot looks a lot smaller on the 43mm than a 39mm?

From seeing other pics of them, it looks like mine is just the T-Rex variant; others seem pretty normal-sized. Also if your quoted pic vs. mine doesn't show the difference between Imgur quality and uploading to here directly I don't know what does.

Check the other side of the chip. Most (all?) V-spots are better defined and bigger on one side than the other.

Hmmm, I actually had noticed that at one point and just assumed it was the chips I had. Any idea why that is? Always seems one side is sharp then the other is all rounded.

I think it's a consequence of the forces generated in molding vs. the shape of the punch (and that the chip has thickness.) I guess that's kinda hand-wavy so honestly the short answer should be "no, I don't really know why" but afaik it's a geometry thing in the manufacturing process.

I honestly think that it's just a manufacturing defect. All the spots are all supposed to look uniform (more or less) but the example shown is a lot "less" than what I would consider passible.

If the time clock allows me, I might try with this lineup. Using the subtle $100 color and relabeling
.25¢ .50¢ $1 $5 $25. Thoughts?

I play micro stakes, both .05/25 and .25/50. I like having a lot of quarters. All my cash sets have at least 160 quarters. So if you are like me, it may be hard to get enough snappers day of sale. So that would be my issue with this lineup. Personally, I would make the secondary $25 my quarter as others suggested and go with a black or purple $20 for a cash set with relabels. I've never seen any need to have both quarters and fiddy cent chips.

I'm tinkering with this lineup right now. I like having sets that are outside the traditional color standards, so this probably won't set well for most people, but I like it and my friends have never really cared lol. They are not into chips like I am.

.25/1/5/20 or 25/100

Traditional colors are for 2nd class citizens!! Different is the best!

I wonder if there’s a correlation - know how they say if you sit down at a table and see a guy with messy stacks, he’s more likely to be a loose, splashy player, and if you see a guy with perfectly neat stacks, he’s more likely to play tight? I wonder if there’s a correlation like that here - if you like traditional colors, you’re probably a TAG, if you make up your own colors, you’re probably a LAG?
