I joined PCF shortly after receiving my Milanos (https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/introduction-from-sweden-with-pr0n.38072/) and apart from dabbling in some Royals for bounties, seating and high denoms, it took me almost 3 years until I bought my second set! Talk about scrub, amirite!?

The shipment was sent in two boxes, one arrived today as a late X-mas present for myself!

Looks like Box 2. Fingers crossed the prequel isn't too far behind!

Let's open it up!

So what's inside? Any guesses?

I think you might be correct! Those who know their stuff can see what it is in the pic, but there's also a red herring in there to throw you off

Another hint is that although I personally think they are fantastic chips, real connoisseurs will probably feel that the reveal is anticlimactic. Especially considering the (inadvertent) slowroll.

I'm rebuilding my basement, and I do mean EVERYTHING in the basement, so I ain't got time for no pron! (Or: at least not this kind of pron)

I will tonight very unceremoniously take a snap of the chips where they are now kept (got no place to store them, because, y'know, the basement thing) which will then put Mr Winberg's glorious attempt at pron to rest.

As promised:

A set with non-standard colors tailored for a simple "resurrection format", but can of course be used for normal tournaments as well. The chipcount is for 20 players, when more show up the last arriving players get high denoms only and get to make change at the table. 25 is max in my house.

Spoiler: Resurrection format

The resurrection format is as such:
Starting stack 30k: 20/6/10/3 + 1 bounty + 3×T1000 as an on-time bonus.
When you're eliminated, or if you've survived to the first break, you get your resurrection of 50k (in T5k and/or T10k chips) + 1 bounty.

Since everyone gets 2 bounties in total, each bounty chip is worth half of what they usually are. When you eliminate someone you get 2 bounty chips (unless the opponent only has 1, which is common before the break).

All chip denoms from T100 to T50k get action with ~20 players.

43mm:
400×T100
120×T500
280×T1000
100×T5000
160×T10k (What??? A 10k chip?? Are you mad or just stupid? Well, both actually. See explanation below)
30×Seating

47mm:
20×T50k
25×Resurrection
50×Bounty
25×The Gold Medal chip! Thanks @timinater!! It says "I am a WINNER at [my name]'s card house" and the sides and rolling edges read "I won" and "Everyone else lost"

+ lots of spares, cause I'm scrub

Spoiler: Why a T10k?

I wanted all 9 colors. Bounty, resurrection, and seating leaves 6. Had I gone with 5k, 25k, 100k, the 100k would have been redundant. With 5k, 10k, 50k, the 50k gets used in the endgame.

Plus I already have a set with 25k, so I wanted something different.

Plus denominations of 25x are unnatural for Swedes since we don't have quarters in our currency. Our coins are 1, 5, 10 ( and before they were removed: 0.10 and 0.50).

The 10k is introduced at the break, so before the break the 5k is the star of the show. After the break the 10k is the new lead and the 5k becomes the supporting actor, just like the T500 merely supports the T1000.
