Ordered a Mini X2 table with the dining top in cherry at an admittedly great price on sale. After an extended delay, and vague communications about what speed cloth options are available, they let me know the table was available le and would be going into production. They are now informing me that my table is broken in their warehouse- likely due to their move from CA to NV.

Now to rectify the situation, their only option for me is to pay an additional $1200 for the exact same model table at full price in black. Offered 200 off which is less than the standard coupon offered on their website offering the same percentage off plus a bar cart.

Absolutely horrible customer service, if not flat out fraudulent, from beginning to end. I have no idea what to do now. Was so looking forward to hosting games over the coming weeks, drumming up lots of interest in the neighborhood and at work. I will now a. look like a schmuck b. be out additional money to either get another table or from returning other items that should be utilized I. The space for the table that should have been coming, or c. Both.....

End rant. Also, yeah, I know, @T_Chan .... Would love to but can't afford that

T_chan or DIY (with chan man felt...ssc for real budget build)...those are my only two personal options...or a really good topper

Sorry to hear of your troubles with BBO, hope you find a good solution but don't get fooled into option b

That sucks! Maybe you’ll luck out and come across a used table for sale in your area?
Thanks. Hopefully, although unfortunately unlikely. The nice part about this one was being able to convince the wife based on the multi-use aspect and was slightly smaller 8 vs 10 person so fit the space great too. Fingers crossed

Try gorilla, they treated me pretty well, also a vendor here
Thought about it. I do think their pub table would work nice. Was hoping to go the permanent furniture route though. Also a bit hesitant to do business with them after the @T_Chan cease and desist issue

Yikes, that is a shitty situation all around.

Not clear why they are not re-making the table if they broke it, or at least offering your money back...

BBO is pretty meh. I had one as my first table and it was pretty dang cheaply made.... If they are going to give you a refund, you might have saved yourself. Honestly, making your own isn't too hard. My current is plenty nice and cost 250 for materials. But T Chan is the only real answer. Sorry dude.

Woah, if they won't offer you a full refund, now that's some pitchfork material right there. I'd get my #chiplawyer involved.

They would give me my money back, but then would be stuck on returning of chairs and other room accessories so would be out money that way too. I understand if they can't remake it in a color, but making it right by writing off the same model, Clearance or not, doesn't cost them additional money. Also, they should get reimbursed if it happened due to shipping damage, but I'm the only one taking a hit in any of their 'available options'

Don't want to spam copy my previous reply, but they would refund. I would just be out money in another avenue from restocking fees, etc on other items meant to go with the agreed upon table

Ah. Sorry. We all know I'm a simple man who only reads every 6 words.

I have put in a BBB complaint as well, but not naive enough to think that will actually do anything unfortunately.

Gorilla makes good tables at a good value. Tchan makes amazing tables but they are pricey. I personally don’t take disputes between companies as my concern. I do care about quality and customer service though.

I recently ordered a gorillla table and the shipping company destroyed the table before delivering it to the wrong state. Gorilla made a new one a delivered it within two weeks of learning the first one had been damaged. I was very impressed with the customer service. The table is excellent and I’ll probably get another one when I can justify it.

Awesome feedback, and agree with the general sentiment. Great to hear your positive experience.

Same question to you- does the picture I posted above look like one of their tables? Listing title seems a little scammy, but seller seems legit
