Right now I'd be paying $525 for the hundreds....which would make the 5ks like $39.30 each....

I think the problem with the hundreds is that everyone has them as part of their set. I would pay that much to purchase your secondary 5K's, but no way I can trade away my only rack of HSI 100's. GL.

yep that's what I'm realizing, so I'm totally fine if someone wants to buy them for that! I just hate to ask but it seems like almost all the HSI chips are a solid 125% of TCG price or more now anyway

I’m not interested in buying them, I’m just curious as to what your reference was to the cost of $100 chips you purchased. It just sounds like to overspent for something and are trying to make up the cost by selling these at a much higher price. Just asking a question, that’s all.

All good that's just the way I see it. You can call it "overpaid" but I have been trying to find those $100's for less for literally 2 months, so I think you mean I paid the actual price of what they are worth, whether you agree with that or not

Thanks for the input though. I'm expecting people to get hostile about this price which they seem to be so I am just giving the logic for anyone that cares, since I was originally trying to trade these and that's why I need the values to balance because I realized a direct trade was impossible

Gotcha, I must have missed where you said what you paid. It’s all good though, you can sell for whatever price you want. I was just curious as to what you meant in your OP about the $100’s. And I’m sure anyone who is interested in these might wonder the same. Maybe just list the price for $5k’s and that’s it.

They are two different chips.

Example:
If a person paid 5x’s above TCR prices for one denomination, that doesn’t mean that now all of the denominations across that set are worth 5x the TCR prices.

Why are the $100s so expensive? That’s ridiculous that RHC $100s are $5 per chip.

It’s nice to be able to get all the chips you need from the original sale or group buys, because this is when it gets out of hand, trying to finish out a set and pay way over priced amounts for chips. I have been guilty of it too, just to get what you want and not have to keep waiting or looking. This whole chipping thing is good and bad in my opinion, which is why I don’t care to invest a bunch of money in a bunch of sets that will more than likely not get used or only get used once. That’s just coming from me, because I’m not as much of an enthusiast and serious hobby chipper like others are on here, I just wanted some nice poker chips to play with my group. I have more than enough now and there is no reason for me to buy more. But, in the case that I might be able to help you out without you needing to make a kidney donation to afford the hundos, are you after the primary or secondary?
