Phil Galfond and Runitonce launching poker site (1 Viewer)

If there's anyone in the poker community that I trust with my money it's Phil Galfond. Unfortunately they don't plan on launching the United States at this time.

I agree Phil galfond appears to be a poker pro who's not a dirtbag at any level. I wonder if that appearance reflects reality.

He's well known to be probably the most stand up guy in poker. As someone who almost exclusively plays PLO, he's somewhat of a hero of mine.

I really hope they eventually come stateside.

Phil G. always acts professionally at the table; I wouldn't be surprised if he's the same way away from it. Never seen him on tilt, either. Of course when playing a game like PLO, one can experience just about every scenario in poker in a relatively short period of time.

Weren't Phil and Dwan involved in a high stakes PLO marathon - like 10,000 hands @ $4,000/$8,000ish?

It's possible they definitely have spent some time playing together but the fact that Dwan named Phil Galfond as the only person that can't take him up on the Durrr challenge makes me feel like they probably wouldn't play High stakes HU vs each other.

Edit: I guess it's possible that Dwan thought he had an edge vs Phil, that wasn't high enough to make the Durrr challenge plus EV.
