Your favorite dealer button? (1 Viewer)

Sure, all you really NEED is an easily visible dealer button. But what's the fun in that?

I could list hundreds of dealer buttons that I truly love, but I'll try to keep my list short. In general, most poker felts are dark, so white dealer buttons are a good option because they are easy to spot on the table. Give the button a splash of color, and it helps even more.

But if I had to really narrow down my favorite dealer buttons, these are my top four. My own 60mm metal "NUTS" dealer button, a 94mm x 66mm "CASINO ROYALE" dealer plaque, a Teddy KGB Oreo dealer button and a whopping 90mm ceramic "WSOP EUROPE" dealer button.

I don't have a set of the bohemia chips, but the cheeky bum dealer button has to be on the top of my list. Runner up for me is the death star button available more recently.

@Himewad any recommendations on where I can get the casino royale dealer plaque? I can only find the chip version in apache

Only three of these in existence. @Saoliver and @Josh Kifer have the other two.
is this custom made by a woodworker or is this a limited edition set?

This is high up on the list

does this feel acrylic-plasticy or more towards clay?

It’s visibility is tough to beat, and that’s really all a dealer button needs to do: be easily seen.

Alternatively, I’ll accept this giant puck. Just as visible and a little more fun:

I already have the simple and easy to spot one but I think the special design ones are extra fun haha

Those were made years ago, and I have no idea how many were made. I was extremely lucky to get one. I believe CPC makes ceramic plaques (their web site says they do), but I have never used them to make plaques.

The Zen dealer buttons are plastic. Made by Matsui in a group buy earlier this year.

If you want to make a custom dealer button, you will want to use BR Pro Poker (site vendor). They make ceramic dealer buttons.

It’s both… custom by a woodworker and a limited edition set of 3

Well as I knew @Himewad would share my favorite Casino Royale Rectangle DB... I say choose one!

Lol!

That Rectangle is much thixker than today's ceramic plaques... the company that made th went out of business years ago. The owner of the artwork/designer hasn't been on in a while. @Phantom , he may know how many of those buttons exist, but unfortunately I don’t think we will be seeing any more made. He did remake the button with the Faux marble background later in a 60mm round version and there are quite a few of those floating around. But as James said... good luck finding the Rectangle version, they are very unique and rare at this point.

I don't have a close-up of it but I find myself always wanting to use my Hotel Mapes button. Just love the design, casino, visibility, etc. Might change once my latest button order comes in with the Treasure Islands, but for now it stands alone at the top.
