WWII aircraft engine design theme? (1 Viewer)

It’s just a thought while I was making a P-51 MASTUNG model kit with my son back in March – how about a new design set based on the aircrafts that are famous during the WWII? Not sure how many military/aircraft fans are here, but here’s the rough idea:

This is just for one color, other colors will be applied to other aircrafts' engine, here’s a reference link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_aircraft_of_World_War_II

How do you guys think?

I think WWII aircraft nose art could be a cool basis for a theme.

I wouldn’t be interested in engine designs, not saying there wouldn’t be interest from others. maybe a pinup girl variety with plane nicknames? Like Memphis belle?

Pop in some BJ edge-spots and make it a 43mm hybrid and you've got an idea!

A friend of mine just got this bomber artwork tattooed on her after her grandfather passed away (he flew these in WW2 I think).

My point exactly, make it a series of these famous engines.

On the other hand, nose art also seem interesting as @K ALL IN 9 and some others mentioned.

Re: the engine idea, I think both of your customers would be thrilled.
Seriously, I’m the only poker player I know personally that knows what a radial engine is. I’m never going to buy chips that no-one else understands.

The nose art would work a lot better.

What about something inspired by the Ghibli film, “The Wind Rises”? It’s based on an airplane designer from Japan, and you could have art in that style of some of the aircraft from the movie.
