Scroll, Laurel Crown, Venerati, Valentino, maybe Nevada Jacks or Nile Club.

Not really set on anything specific.

500-1200 chips.

Just want to see what might be available and looking to buy in the next few weeks. Feel free to pm me what you have and what you are looking to get for it.

In the US so probably not interested in international shipping.

Hi !

Thanks @davislane to tag me here ;)

I probably have something for you @Pgheddie, i just prepare an enormous ceramic/paulson sales from an old club in Paris (Clichy Montmartre since 1947).

Sets are premade like this :

25 x 80
100 x 80
500 x 40
1000 x 80
5000 x 20

So u'll be abble to do 20k start for 10 players ;)

Sets are 150€ for 300 chips with a malette, if you take two sets it'll be 280€ (140 each).

We also got some high roller sets at 140€ to complete 2 sets for example, their breakdown :
5k x 100
25k x 90
100k x 10

My pms are open to talk and to have some pics, i don't want to make my own add on your post ;)

don't get nile clubs word of advice!
the quality control on them is not good (offset edge spots, blurriness/lack of sharpness in printing, spinners)
i actually really liked the nile clubs when i saw them online but in person they don't live up to it. the only one i liked was the $2.50 chip which wouldn't even be ideal in a tournament set

Yes, I got samples and the colors are a little muted, but I still like them. Unaligned edge spots don't bother me (although I do prefer ceramics with the denominations on the edges) and not really weird about QC issues - I've used dice chips for 20 years so anything Ceramic would be a big step up. Would have to be the right price though as all those issues definitively negative impact resale value.

maybe your samples came out better than mine, but thats a topic for concern.
if you are interested in ceramics maybe go for these if its a tournament set:

i can't personally vouch for these exact ones but i have nevada jacks and desert sands which both feel good
i think these would be better chips for a tournament than something like nevada jacks

Ceramics seem to be less popular and don't hold their value well which is one of the reasons I'm looking to buy a used set. There are threads on here where NJs wouldn't sell and ended up being given away for free and scrolls sold for less than 20 cents each. I don't need pricing that good, but that's like German luxury car depreciation if I were to buy new!

Sounds like you want something pretty quickly. If you have some time, you should check out the madness known as custom Cards mold ceramics. Cheap and VERY COOL, but slow since they are custom printed and have to come by boat from China.

Not in a tremendous hurry, but I'm not at all artistically inclined.

Probably don't want to deal with the complications of an international purchase, but will keep this in mind.

I’ve got a nice set of plastic Nexgen Pro Classics that can handle a 2 table tournament 10k starting stacks with rebuys. They aren’t ceramic but they are a great budget friendly chip. PM me if you are interested. Picture is for reference. I can send pictures of mine when I get home if interested.

Thanks, shipping from Canada would probably make this cost prohibitive.

So like this site it looks like I can just use photoshop to customise any photo or print and just get to scale to fit on the chip. Of course I can't use photoshop, but I probably could figure it out eventually. Is that a pretty easy system? Is there easier than that? I just don't want to pick one and spend time figuring everything out only to find out there is an easier method that would produce a better result at half the price.

If you're willing to consider these at $0.68 per chip, you really should looks at custom cards mold. WAY better looking options. Many of the designs that were ordered have been made available by the designers and owners of the designs for others to use if you don't want to do your own design work, or hire someone.

Looks like that group buy is closed? Hundreds of pages on that thread, I'm not sure I even know what is going on there.

no current group buy open at the moment, but I wouldn't be surprised if a new one opened soon

Yup, now that Chinese New Year is wrapping up, the shipments for the previous GBs should be making their way stateside. The demand is strong so I'm sure we will see a new one popping up at any time now. Just need one person who wants to get it going bad enough to run it themselves. @Eloe2000 has thrown out some new designs available to the public, in addition to 4-5 other public domain designs, plus the Aces designs. Several other new members have stated they are IN as soon as there's a new group buy announced. @SeanGecko has also teased that he may run another one once the Big Mess that was GB#1 has finally come to a close. I would not be surprised to see 1-2 new mini GBs per month spring up for the rest of this year.

@Pgheddie if you have any questions, feel free to ask and I and others will help you "see the light" that is Cards mold ceramics. :ROFLMAO:

I just need it made very simple in terms of what the options are and if I don't like those how I go about doing my own if that is possible. All those threads are hundreds of pages and after 5 minutes my head hurts.

Yes, those links I attached above were for GB#1. There have been 4-5 additional smaller GBs since that one. Here are some more recent links with up to date details:

I know many of these threads are HUGE! That is simply due to the incredibly strong interest in the chips. They are dirt cheap (for full customs) very cool looking, decent to very good quality, but... VERY slow to be made (printed) shipped and delivered.

Master consolidated info thread is only 2 pages and lists most of the publicly available designs. It also lists the designers that can take any of those and personalize them for you. Their fees are VERY reasonable.
