WSOP chips (1 Viewer)

Most of the base chips are okay, with a custom house mold, unique spot pattern, and decent color combinations. It's the addition of non-matching colored inlays that give them that butt-ugly Paulson Classics appearance.
You are right, it’s the inlays that ruin them. I don’t love the house mold though either, they could have done a better job of that too.

And lol at the Paulson classics comment. You read my mind.

Through about early 2000's?, at least through 1998, the BARGE main event (at the Horseshoe) was played with the actual WSOP chips of the time. After one of the color-ups a few chips were noticed to be missing. After an announcement to the field, the missing chips were returned.

The prize money was also brought to the final table in the old, Horseshoe style -- by the TD accompanied by shotgun toting secutiy guards.
