There is a local company, Rubber City Poker that has an RFID table. They ran for a couple of seasons then disappeared for a while.
Well they are back now and started streaming live poker again last week and put out a call asking for players.
Several people I know are playing on the show, it is actually live right now even.
When I was talking to some of them I found out the show I charging them $80 each to play on the show!! The game is only $1/3 $300 max buy-in. They are spending over 25% of a buy before a hand is dealt to be in this show.
The game is rake free, but it is only on for 5 hours.
I had thought about playing on the show until I found out about the cost.
So, I ask all of you, would you pay $80 to play on a show that may only be watched by a few hundred people on Twitch?
My personal cutoff would probably be about $25 since it is rake free and only 5 hours long for a $1/3 game.
