I am in. I'll be there for some aspect, likely Friday and Saturday. However, I'll need to get vacation approved for Friday. Count me in for now, and put me down for donating a case of spotted cow!

Gil, we gonna share a room or carpool?

Like with MTTD2, I'll have to wait until the summer trimester observing schedule is getting closer to being set up before I can even imagine committing, but we can room share and carpool as needed. That will put more money on hand to donk off to everyone else.

With two trips in the queue for late spring/early summer next year, I should probably sign up for TSA-pre, just to make that part of the trip easier. :p

Unsure if I can get away that week yet, things are evolving slowly for my work. Interest is high. I need to get to a windy city meetup eventually.

I'll be in chicago for a professional conference in the spring though. Any chance you chicago area players can get me into a home game while I'm out there?

Of course. Let me know when your in town and you can join us. We play every Saturday.

Jeff if I'm around I'll be there, but as we both know my track record is I'm always out of town that weekend. Although with this much notice I'll try and hold that weekend.

Rob,
We will certainly arrange something. Just make sure you let Abby99, Payback and Me know when you are going to be here and when you have free. Depending on the group, Paybacks normal game is a great option. If there are a lot of people, my place will accommodate quite a few comfortably.

Abby PMed me. I sent her dates, and I'll be sure to keep everyone informed as the dates get closer (april 14th). I think I can fly in for saturday, as the conference starts on sunday. If I can get a flight at a reasonable hour, I should be all set.

Thank guys.

Hey Jeff. I know I'm making two business trips to Chicago next summer. If either coincide and you still have space I'd be interested.

Color me interested, all depends on work travel at the time.

I'm interested as well. Not much could top the last time we went out there. FWIW, WCB IV was where "degenethon' was coined (TY Courage!)

P.S. If we go out together, I'm actually semi-concerned about us, you know, surviving.

Would love to attend but I'll have absolutely no idea until the date is nearly here... all depends on current work projects and my son's baseball schedule.

Playing straight through until 7 am Sunday so you guys could drive to the airport. We're all so tired and there was a $ gazillion split pot at 7 am...

I was so tired the chips stayed on the table where they landed for days...

Odds of attendance high I would say. May be poor, but this event is a bit more bankroll-friendly, and wifey has been talking about wanting to take another trip to Chi-town anyway. Kids are just getting old enough now we could probably drop them on some poor soul for 4 days. ;)

If the cubs are in town, I could make it. :). Need to get that off of my bucket list.

I've been to Wrigley but would love to again, particularly a day game. If I make it out there I'm definitely in for a Wrigley day game.

If the schedule stays true, looks like Cubs hosts Philly, Fri, Sat, and Sun. @ noon each day...

Hmmm... group buy?

I'm not a big fan of baseball on TV but get a big kick out of it in person (I feel that way for most sports). That and a game at Wrigley would add another notch in the extended Ferris Bueller Tour of Chicago.

I haven't commented yet but I'm a definite maybe. I will be after the first of the year before I can be certain. I would love to make it again.

I'm in the same boat. Not a baseball fan at all but seeing a game at Wrigley might be cool. Color me tentatively interested if this gains any momentum.

Also, I never really asked (because it never crossed my mind, tbh) what the protocol is for bringing chips to a meet-up? I didn't bring my Three Putt Poker sets to DCS this year mainly because I forgot. I'm not necessarily asking for them to get used but just thought it might be nice to *ahem* show a couple of my sets off in person? Again, I don't want to step on any toes, especially Jeff's - but this is a poker chip forum right? :) :)

Bring them all. Display or play, either way we can enjoy! I'm sure we can find a use for your cash set, especially. I'm thinking about whether a heads up tourney might be a good idea, which would be prime time for some three put tourney set, too.

WCB used to hsve a heads up tourney...does anyone like the idea of going back to that (of course the main event stays)

Baseball would put a big hole in Friday Gambol, but might be something for Friday or Sunday. We'd need headcount to finagle tickets if people want to go.

I am now able to commit 100% for all things Friday and Saturday. I just got my vacation extension approved. Coming down for Thursday is a possibility, but don't lock me in yet.

Baseball is ok, but not my thing. If you did a wriggly game on Friday, it'd kill a day of poker. I'd suggest Sunday noon game for those interested in tacking it onto their itinerary.

Ya, links, I know last WCB a number of people brought nice chipsets to show off, and considering the audience, there were NO complaints from attendees... :). It was very cool to see people's chips.

Im very much looking forward to playing with the everleigh club cash chips at some point, but the three putt Chippies have been kind to me too... :)

I plan to bring loads of chip samples and casino duplicates to trade. Can't wait!

Sean did it at his roundup on the first night and it looked like a lot of fun.
