Oh, my God!
If this is as far as the Mets make it this year, I will go into the off-season feeling like we won it all. I threw out my hopes for a good year in Spring training. The beginning of the year only confirmed my thoughts as we played terrible baseball and sat at the bottom of the division. Our pitching & fielding sucked and the top players were barely hitting .200. Slowly things started to turn around and the momentum shifted. Grabbing onto anything to pin our success on (Grimmace & OMG) and pulling them even tighter as a team, the Mets rose into contention, bouncing in and out of a Wildcard spot. Needing to go to Atlanta and win against the Braves to get in was just like the old Wildcard format and it made this series with the Brewers feel more like a Division Series. Last nights game 3 will go down as one of the best playoff wins ever. This photo might be the last one of this group celebrating a series win, but you never know...Ya Gotta Believe! LFGM
