How many did you get, how did it go, what ended up being your cost/chip? I have something that I'm thinking on that wouldn't make a good GB so I was just going to go solo but wanted to see what other folks experiences like this were.

You realize a Tina group buy isn’t everyone getting the same chips right? It’s just a group buy to meet quantities for the maximum discount in price

But @SeanGecko can probably help you out
I did not realize that, that certainly changes the complexion of the issue. Thanks for that distinction.

I'm in the middle of one now for 1700 chips through Tina. Used a designer who has dealt with them before and contacted them with the artwork and put them in touch with me. Only contacted them today but will let you know how it goes. With postage it's worked out around .44c a chip.

I’ve got one now, 2200 chips. Two location sets a promo chip and a small set of non negs

Approved on Friday, I’m told 10 calendar days to complete

When did card molds/Tina become popular widely used? This resource has been fantastic for the PCF member/chip collector.

Out of my 7 sets (CDIB, WTHC, JACK DET and CIN, HSI, AST) my Aria Card Mold’s may get the most compliments from my friends/players lol

***Damnit, I said I'd stop after 2 sets wtf lol

I needed some 25c and my other manufacturer charges $250 per print run for stickers/labels. Making sublimation printed chips and labels the easy option.

I turned the need for 25c chips into a bigger set and to cover three different problems that I had. Aesthetically the cards mould is the most appealing to me of them all.

The origin story that led to the King of Cards Mold was a different guy named Bosco who found Tina and created a line of stock chips called Aces as well as a very large semi custom line and fully customs for sale to PCF. He collected a ton of orders and seemingly got overwhelmed and just ghosted. After months, a small witch-hunt erupted and he was tracked down through his new employer. He started repaying people and/or sending chips. I don’t recall if he settled with everyone but it seemed like he was on his was to do so. As part of his attempt to make some kind of amends he gave up Tina’s info and his source files to the community. He was banned. Sean stepped up and into history after that.

All of Bosco’s threads were removed but Sean’s original GB and all that ensured can be found here: https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/custom-artwork-group-buy-us-can-cards-mold.58260/

Jaysus, I had no idea we had our own episode of Law & Order Special Chippers Unit here.

Could you set me up with the designer you used?

And it was .44c a chip including designer fees?

Can anyone help me with the process of ordering custom chips?

I’d happily participate in a GB. But I don’t seem to any for new artwork. So I’m willing to put in my own buy directly for 2500 chips. Just unsure how to do it all. Thx in advance for your help.

Order arrived today, a few hiccups that are being sorted out.

Mixed up edges on 17x $1 chips
Missing 3x of the $100

Good thing is they send some spares but not enough to cover those two issues

Over all pretty happy, will be ordering more. The whites are great and the non neg $25 looks great in a rack

My cards mold sloth club chips are "Anita's". They were slightly cheaper and are awesome (approx 1200 Canadian for 3575 chips). I don't need more but if I did I'd happily order more again. I should have order 25- 25k design chips as well but there are plenty and unlikely they'd ever see much felt time. Maybe a plaque sometime. I hear the base blank has changed since my order, so I suggest when ordering to get the entire order all at once so they match.
