While I am waiting in queue, what can I add on, and when?

Let’s start with getting on the same page of what we are talking about:

What is an “Add On” vs. a “New Job”?
  • We define an “add on” as increasing the number of labels of what you have already been quoted, so long as that quantity is not more than double the original amount.
    • You want 240 of the T500’s instead of the 200 you originally requested.
    • You want 200 of the 25¢ labels instead of the 100 you originally requested.
  • We define a “new job” as adding a new denomination or new artwork. If we have to set up new artwork to make it ready to print on our printer, that is a new job. It is also adding more than double the original quantity requested.
    • You want to add some Rebuy or Bounty labels to the set you have ordered.
    • You want to add 200 of a different artwork for a new rack you just got.
    • You want to add a T25,000 to your tournament set.
    • You want 1000 of something you only wanted 200 of before.
If you want something that we would define as a new job, we will absolutely group any print jobs you have in the queue.
Any print work waiting for any given person will be done at the same time and shipped out as a single package.
The oldest job is what gets pulled from the queue and any additional jobs will get grouped in with that one.

One other important thing to note: A new job = current pricing structure.

As with most things in life, timing is everything.
  • While you are waiting for Chris to start your job, email Andrea at ask@gearlabels.com and make changes and add ons all you want. She will issue updated estimates and make sure it is clear if there are multiple jobs to print for any given person.
Once Chris has emailed you a mock up to approve and a link for payment, that is when timing and what you want comes into play. If you find yourself writing an email saying “Is there still time to…”
  • Want to add on as we have defined above? Ask Chris. If the job isn’t sealed and has postage, then more than likely yes. He can send you a quick quote and get the add on printed up and mailed out with the original order.
For ALL other situations, email Andrea at ask@gearlabels, letting her know what you need and that Chris is working on a job for you now. She will get you an estimate ASAP and let Chris know there is another job to add to the one he is doing now. He can then issue the quote and link for payment once the new job is in the queue, and group the jobs accordingly.
  • Did you just score a rack of chips you didn’t think you could get, but you have already paid for your order? Ask Andrea.
  • Did you just realize you wanted to add Bounty chips to your set, but you have already been quoted by Chris? Ask Andrea.
It is worth noting: When we quote and ask for money, that means the job is almost ready to print. Generally speaking, we begin printing your order the same day that payment is received.

Let us know as soon as you can.
We will do our best to add on and group jobs so there is only one shipment.

If your specific scenario isn't covered in this post, as always - email me at ask@gearlabels.com and I will work with you regarding your specific situation.

Thanks!
Andrea/Wifey
