Hi guys,
Which colors to use for a cpc custom ES tourney secondary set.
Color molds and spots?
Thank you

Just to clarify...you want to replicate the Empress Star secondary tourney set using CPC colors and spots?

I believe the ESST set was inspired by the WSOP set, so it may be mostly done for you. :)

First of all, ES T secondaries are 8A18-spotted, while CPC offers only 6A18 spots
More later.:)

Also bear in mind that Paulson has a 70 or so color palette, while CPC offers 38 colors.
CPC colors may come close to the Paulsons for this set, but not exactly match the latter. Hardest to match is the T25 lime green. I wonder if it could be better matched by DG Saturn rather than by DG Green.
Edit: I do have a CPC color sample (not here, at work though:D) but not a Paulson color sample.
Make sure to at least have the 38 CPC colors plus a sample of the ES T secondary set, to judge in person.

^^Indeed, or try something close but different, with its own character, without the strings of imitation attached, making better use of the CPC palette.
Here's something very expensive I would make if I were rich, on top of the shitload of money I 've already spent.
It could be an "Aegean Phare"-themed set, having a lighthouse shed probably varying shades of light at the darkness:

Lol uh, you realize that 3 of your chip combos are imitations of boat chips? :)

Edit: one of which is an imitation of a WSOP chip

Sure, my point is that I was not tied down by the originals, but thought about what would look better on CPC clay

It just seemed funny to talk about originality and not imitating, then posting 3 chip imitations in the same post :)

I wouldn’t attempt to make/order any CPC chips without a current color sample set and mold set.

@RichMahogany
I talked about "trying something close" which is in fact imitation, yet without the restrictions of full, blind imitation, but rather with some freedom, according to whatever nice combo a specific palette can offer.
I didn't use the word "originality". I used the term "its own character", which can be derived by several factors, including the labels as well.

i always love the colors of molds end spots ES Tourney secondary, but i'm not a fan of inlay.
thats why i ask to my friend @Kid_Eastwood to create an inlay.
i think it will be more expensive to put other inlay on ES that buy cpc.
i present a cpc project that i would like realized in the futur.
i'm not sure like the mold's color of 500.
i would like change some little things on the inlay.
if someone have an idea of color that smatch good with the other, let me know.

These labels were initially designed with faux-shaped inlays for the Dunes CC set.

That’s why they don’t cover the entire label surface (yet). I’ll try to have the new version of the label done this week.

Has someone already done a faux-shaped inlay on a CPC set ? Is the color-match rendering well if using the colors from the CPC design tool ?

I sent this morning a mail to cpc with the inlay I want to use for my set.
But they've said me it's not possible.
Someone knows the reason.

CPC is a licensed casino provider. They would not produce an inlaid chip that too closely resembles an existing casino chip, even if historical. That would go for the inlay design itself, regardless of the mold/spots.
Thx,
CPC have propose me to change "no cash value" by "commemorative"
That's OK for me

@Odranoel77 , just do a print test to make sure that the "the" inside the "D" will be visible when you print.
Just print the label (7/8") on your printer to verify.

others versions inlay just reworked today.
the colors of inlay, mold and spotted are not final version.
