I've seen some sets come with a gray chip, others with a brown chip.
Quarters are silver colored so I guess gray chips make "sense"?
Which color would you think is a natural choice for this fractional chip?
(You can choose another color based on historic real casinos since 0.25 cent chips are out of circulation)

I mean there's there's really no "natural" color. It just a color that will go with/compliment your set. The choice is yours.

Most common other than California is where the $1 is usually blue or white. And $5 are red. $25 is green and $100 is black

Nice. I'm trying to see if there isn't an association with the 0.25 cent chips and a certain color. Just like there is one for white and blue ones.
I doubt many people who actually got to see one with that denomination in a poker room are young enough to be roaming the forums

Any colour seems to go for 25c seen them in yellow, in orange and anything else you care to throw in the mix. Hsi were pale blue.

Sean Gecko: All of 'em.

For non-Cali, I primarily think of pink or yellow. For Cali, red .25 and green .50.

*shrug*

I need six Lakeshore Inn quarters btw while we’re here.

Really there are limited options

We also have purple, white... sooo... umm, yeah whatever you want! These are all casino used
Plus it's interesting to note these are all solid colour and hotstamps, you can also get edge spots and inlays, so yea, anything goes it would seem. Casino's tend to stick to set colours for most denoms but with fracs not so much
