you need more than 1100 chips for under $50? That’s pretty limiting.
Your link didn't make it into the post.

Also, where did I say my budget was under $50? I'm looking to buy over 2200 chips of a specific color breakdown, in the 10-15 cent per chip range.

Sorry didn’t realize you had zombied somebody else’s thread. Who knows a what this thread is about or who we are looking for chips for?
Really? That's all you've got? I've been in this thread since page 2. Pretty sure if @AnteAndy had a problem with my posting here, he would have told me by now.

This is a community and a bunch of us here are sharing information on a common subject and helping each other out. Not sure why you seem to have a problem with that...

I don’t, I was trying to help and you went all aggro.

This thread is Useless without pron though so

I actually personally wanted your exchange with others regarding your need of assistance in a separate thread since I wanted this to stay on topic, but it's really not a big deal since others were helping you out.

Personally went with the Monaco casino chips now after first choosing from the Showdowns.

My apologies. I wish you had said something three months ago. I won't post here again.

Cricket I really like the color pallete of those chips. I know they’re not Paulsons, but I like my sample set. Wish they would get the plastic flashing fixed and I would get a few thousand of these for big tourneys.

I like the Bluff Canyon best. The wife likes the Desert Heat best.

Guess which ones we bought?
Same chip, different label. So it's just personal preference. Honestly, anything on the sword and spade mold (knights, monaco, etc) is better in terms of chip feel. They are less slippery and have less spinners than heat or canyon. But I agree that they are a bit more bland than heat or canyon.

Honestly, if you can afford to get China clays like majestic or royals, it's worth the extra. Though, IMO there is nothing wrong with getting Claysmith if that is what you budget dictates. I use Claysmith for my tournament set.

I have a low limit cash set of the desert heat. They are a nice upgrade from dice chips but I have considered selling these to upgrade further.
Great starter set

Edit.
Can anyone tell me what my set if worth to put up for sale on here?
I’ve just looked at past desert heat posts and can’t see anyone selling a set so don’t know how to work out a price. It also seems these are harder to get now than other claysmith chips, I think they were even sold out on claysmiths website last time I looked. Does that increase price at all? It’s 850 chips total.
Thanks

Unlikely you'll get 15c per chip on resale. Might not even get 10c/chip in the PCF classifieds, but might be achievable on eBay. Cheap slugged plastics just don't hold value well.

@MemphisFats I would guess 8-10 cents a chip if you can find a willing buyer. You might just want to gift them to a friend or relative if you can't find a buyer here. Personally, I think they are cool chips, but they don't get much love here in the land of Paulsons, TRKs, and the other premium chips.

Yes, slightly better quality, but ugly imo compared to the

I bought myself a 300 small stakes ceramic scroll set.

I would guess 10-12 cents if you include us shipping and they are in very good condition. Agree there would be very few buyers here. Craigslist or offer up or eBay.

I mean I definitely give the Claysmiths love for what they are, a better breed of ABS since they are doing work with molds and colors. But they don't stack as high as ceramics or paulsons obviously, among other differences.

But at this price point, they are leaps and bounds better than the dice and suited chips of 10 years ago. (And dice and suited chips are really not much cheaper these days.)

We used the scrolls for quite a while. They are good looking and sturdy. They get a little dirty but are easy to clean too.

Plus there is a matching set of plaques you can get

Really? Where? I was thinking of getting a ceramic tournament set, and scrolls need a 10k our 25k domination I think, especially with some tournaments doing away with 25s in starting stacks.

I'l send you info. Cheaper than card mold because don't have a mold. They do card mold as well but it costs more per chip. cards mold was .30/chip for 1k

after design was completed and I paid took about 3 week to arrive

If that seller's still around, can I get that info as well? Doing this is within the budget I had set aside for proper labels for my PGI 8vs, and if this is still an option... yeah, I'm gonna have more chips in the house than the gf is comfortable with!
