Sitting Out
Does anyone still sell Paulson World Tophat and Cane chips? If so, where can I buy some? Is it strictly a used market now?
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks,

This place claims to have them in stock:
http://www.pokerchest.com/
But the phone number for them is dead. Has anyone dealt with them?
If it's temporary, it's been going on a long damn time. I've been watching the WTH&C's market closely over the past year or so since I've been trying to get a rack of 25's to finish my set... waiting for the prices to become "reasonable" and it's not happening. I passed on them about 9 months ago when they were selling on eBay for $60 a barrel. The guy had 10+ barrels and they all sold. They haven't sold for less than that since. .
Now anytime they hit eBay, they are almost immediately snatched up at that price, and there is next to nothing being offered. The only time I've seen them go cheaper is when someone sold an entire set, And I think they still got $2.50 per.
Something is going to have to change for the price to come down again
I'm not a buyer at $3, but on the other hand I'm not a seller at that price either.
Did they update their site? They are currently showing "out of stock"...

Also, any chance Paulson will change their mind about selling these again in the future?
Those are hot-stamped Private Cardroom chips.
I believe the OP is looking for World Tophat and Cane chips with shaped inlays.

+1 to this.I know there are listings out there, but I find it hard to believe that they're actually selling at $3-4 per chip, especially for fantasy lines. That's more than some of the original mint Paulson sets that are out there (including one that I'm selling right now!). I suppose the prices are possible if you've got a lot of people with sets who are trying to complete them now that the supply has dried up, but it still seems more like temporary price gouging. If I were trying to get anything more than a couple of barrels, I'd probably wait and see what happens.
