I would like to have info on whether it is possible to buy Angel cards in any store or shop I have a partner of poker that is now touring holidays in Japan
any help is welcome

From what I recall of the group buy in the past, they are not available to the public. They are only supposed to be sold to casinos/gaming halls. However some businesses have been able to purchase from them.

So if you don't know somebody that has a tie to them already, it's very unlikely to just tourist yourself into them. Sorry.

Yeah, that's where my info was coming from. I picked up a setup, but they were extremely expensive.

They're nice. I used them for maybe one session of about 4 hours? They're actually the cards that are used at most of the local casinos.

They feel similar to pre USPC Kem cards to me. I still prefer most of the Fournier lineup to be honest.

Good to know. I would say Fournier and Modiano are probably my faves so far. Most other brands I have played with run either too stiff (Gemaco), or are so flexible they warp easily (current Kems).

i managed to score a few sets ages ago. i sold a few off and kept some.

I have the contact for a sale rep at Angel, and his direct email, so it helped when i wanted a few. I managed to extract 6 sets for free ;)
last time i emailed him, they were out of production on the generic setups.

i will try and find the last time i emailed him, and see what the prices were.. but i had to buy 72 sets (1 box)

They will not deal with some random emailing asking for cards, so dont bother.

Thank you all for your feed back, in my country is easy and cheap to get Modiano and Fournier, Fournier2818/2500 normally use to shuffle by hand and for the Shuffle tech Copag poker size for home tournament .
But if play cash , I like the bridge size had several superflex Gemaco" Grand Victoria" and some bought from Jim TCR and Spinnetis.
but if it is so difficult to get these Japanese beauties, will wait for the next opportunity
Thanks again to everyone
