Where can I buy a brand new 1,000 chip set of Paulsons (I want $1-$500 chips for a cash game). Ideally I would love the Top Hat series.

You can put up a wanted add or check out the classifieds. Sets are always coming up, but brand new is rarer. Other options might be site vendors the Chip Room or Apache. Chip Room had a yuuuuuge sale of brand new minty paulsons recently. I bought this set.

If you are taking about newly manufactured chips sent to retailers for sale to the public, they don't exist. Paulson stopped selling to the home market years ago. Paulsons can only be purchased in the secondary market.

Fortunately, there are plenty of nearly new chips in the secondary market. And for building sets, this forum contains the best secondary market on the planet.

in a casino primary chips are te design used on the floor. secondary are emergeny backup hips with a different design in case the primary get comprimised. in the chiproom sale there are new primaries or secondaries that are also pretty much unused.

there are many more primary chips available than secondaries.

in the link above, in the OP under each chip picture click on the hot link. It will take you to PayPal. Add each chip you want and adjust the amounts you want. Once you have all the chips in your cart click to checkout.

Good question. I’m new and I asked the same thing. I think It all depends. Could be another year or more until we see another casino Paulson sale. Maybe one every 6 months if we’re lucky? Maybe no more the next decade? Hard to say. We do know The next “chip room” sale they are doing with HS Indiana is Black Friday. Good luck, be lightning fast! I’d suggest hitting pay button within about 5 seconds If interested. I just did my first “sale” and it was a trip. I lost everything I wanted within one minute and then just aborted. Lol

Can't really predict it. A casino has to close, then Someone has to buy out the stock of chips (some states don't allow it) then they go up for sale, most the time only the secondary are mint the primary are normally casino used.

Good chance there’s going to be another one within the next 6 months to a year due to all the casinos that have closed recently, and I believe there’s another Horseshoe that closed or is closing, so that might happen soon. What you can truly never predict is whether the chips will look nice.
