The first TCR china clay V8 chips on the scroll mold, or the later PGI china clay V8 chips on the MGK mold?

Scrolls were priced at 39c for blanks, roughly 2010 or so. PGI's prices varied, but typically were sold between 25c-40c, and were made about a year later.

Though the product as we know it can be traced back to 1948, when acquired by the Campbell Soup company,

It dates back further than that. In the 1930’s, it was marketed as Vege-min 8.
sound familiar, Lucy?

The 1904 Antoinette aircraft engine (the first known V8 engine), cost unknown.
