Like, it's becoming impossible to build or supplement sets through eBay singles. It used to be a nice hobby, building a set that way - something to do with your time. Now it's just insane. Seriously, these are two dollar chips - $17, $13, one is $75 or BO?? God help us all

I picked up a rack of chips the other day on eBay at a good BIN price. The seller let me know that multiple people reached out and offered more after I had purchased them. Good for me that the seller is a stand up guy.. I got the chips today..

The height of singles prices was around 2006-7 from what I hear. It was pre-recession, and most of the CCGTCC/CCA old guard were still alive and collecting. After that there was a steady decline until about 3-4 years ago. Prices stabilized for a bit. And now we have what you're seeing now.
