I've 'known' some of you a long time. Mostly just chip conversation. Most I don't know at all.

Question.. When you are in the casino, what is your game of choice??

I'll start - Craps

Let's hear it,
Jim

If I go with my buddy, we'll play Blackjack (used to do slots as well, when they gave out tokens instead of paper slips).

If I'm alone, Limit Hold 'Em and Roulette (if I'm waiting for a spot at the table).

Of course my first choice is always Poker if offered. Otherwise my go to for just pure entertainment value is Roulette.

I use to play a ton of Blackjack, also play Craps, Pai Gow & 3-Card Poker.

$1/$2 or $2/$5 NLHE. Sometimes blackjack if there is a wait list. Would play Omaha if offered.

Craps. You can enjoy any of your favorite beverages while you play and still make money no matter how sober you are.

Interesting. Tournament NLHE here, same as my home games.

would rather play home game poker with friends

I haven't played in a casino in several years. We have plenty of home games in south eastern Michigan.

We play a variety of games. Two of my favorites are PLO8 and SOHE.

I think bust the buffet was a better game during the poker boom. As was poker itself.

I'm not a big fan of casinos, though I like Big O, O8, and PLO if I'm at a casino that offers it.

Craps! Always fun and some of the lowest house edges. Also usually contains some very interesting / funny / animated people playing. I've seen a guy go up $1,000+ playing $25 on midnight (double 6's) and give it all back in about five minutes.

Limit poker too, I liked the 7.50/15 pink chip game Harrah's AC used to have, alternating orbits of O8 and 7 stud.

Limit holdem & no limit tourney.:D Trying to get into video poker...:cautious:

My three least favorite games :)

I did play Roulette at a Detroit Casino a few years ago. I loved it. I know the odds suck and all. Damn it was some fun gambling. Family was in town and wanted to play the penny slots. I refuse to do that. I sat in the poker room. I ran really hot. Made close to a 600 profit at the 1/2 table in two hours. I cash out. While I'm looking for my family I stumble across the roulette table. I plop down fifty bucks worth of 5 dollar bets. I play it for about an hour before losing it all. The most I was at was 120. The lowest was 10 bucks. I definitely could get addicted to it. Had a great time watching that stupid ball roll around in a circle lol

Now that I'm in a regular home game, I rarely go to a casino and I haven't been to Nevada in years. When I travel for gaming, it's to a meetup. :)

BP (before poker), blackjack and craps were my games of choice. For sheer thrills, there's nothing quite like a hot craps table.

95% of what I play in casinos is 2/5 NLHE. I'd like to start playing more PLO, but as of now I've only played it a handful of times in the casino.

No craps, no roulette, no table games for me. I just don't have fun knowing the odds are stacked against me.

If I had to start playing another game, I'd petition for casinos to add another game of skill to their floors:

In a casino: NLHE & PLO(8)... Nothing else really... Wish they spread more mixed poker games...

1/3 or 3/5 "NL"HE (NL in quotation marks because in WA it's not really no limit, $500 max each bet so really it's 3-500 or 5-500 spread limit)
4-8 FK O8 (wish this ran every day)

Very few things as exhilarating as a lively craps table. I cool down from craps with a blackjack session. Poker is usually only for marathons when staying somewhere with the wife.
