What's my collection worth? (1 Viewer)

I like @BGinGA value assessment better lol.
Typical sane selling prices (excluding outliers for stupid/desperate buyers) for mint/unused PAULSON CHIPS mold home market chips:

$3.00-$3.25/chip: Pharaoh's Club
$2.75-$3.00/chip: National Poker Series
$2.50-$2.75/chip: Casino de Isthmus City
$2,00-$2.50/chip: Top Hat & Cane (Classics)

Chips in used condition are worth far less. There is some movement on some specific denominations, but those are pretty accurate set prices.

They look well loved but should clean up nicely. You got a decent deal.

Thank you! This is literally my first entry into the hobby, so I'm still learning. I went and read up on another thread about how to clean the chips, and it looks complicated. Is there a service anywhere that I can send the chips to be cleaned?

LOL. Ya, they're used, it'll hurt their value, but no where near that much. They're still probably worth $2 ea. But no scenario whatsoever are they worth a penny less than $1.75 ea unless they're in worse shape than the used pics show, IMO.

That's encouraging :)

I will buy some of those $1,000s if you are up to sell any. I’m looking for 20-50 of them.

Literally just got them, so not looking to sell any.

I got about $3 per chip when I sold mine. But they were very minty.

The really great thing about that set is you just bought yourself a great door into the hobby. It's probably way too large unless you do multi-table stuff, so you can break it down into three or even more sets, keep one, sell the rest and you have the bankroll to buy a few more. A lot of people here have different chip sets for limit games, no-limit games, and tournaments.

Appreciate that advice, thank you!

That's a great benchmark for me to use, thank you! I also convinced the person I bought the classics from to sell me his entire collection of Le Paulson Noirs -- almost 2500 chips. Would you happen to know the price range on that? He says they're unused, but who knows? I receive them next week.

The Le Paulson Noir chips were produced using the Paradise mold, and mint condition sets can easily fetch $3.50-$4.00/chip or higher. Unlike all of the PAULSON CHIPS mold sets, not many Noirs were made.

That's unprofessional but I jus get an erection.... WOW... WHAT A SET

Amazing, thanks!

Yup, check out the set that just sold on eBay. Somoen said the accepted offer was 4200
The Noir chips bring silly money now

4200 for how many chips? I paid $4900 for the 2500 chips.

Could I get an intro to your friend?

hahaha, gonna pass. He has a collection of 20,000+ chips and I'm slowly getting him to part with them, so gonna keep him to myself for now.

For like I think 700 chips. You got an awesome price. I don't see the attractiveness of the Noir chips myself
unless someone just said take these what will you give me and didnt care if I resold them by the rack.

but congrats to anyone who kept their sets. If they keep their value you have a nice little stack of cash
if ever needed.
