Tourney What would you add to complete this set (1 Viewer)

Hello all
First post on PCF. This sight is full of great information. On the flip side, this site has been a nightmare to my wallet. (But usually gets better once I get chips in the mail).
Just wanted some opinions on what you would get to finish the set of Cleveland horseshoes
Break down of the set is:
$25 x 300
$100 x 200
$500 x 100
$1000 x 40
$5000 x 20
$25000 x 20 (just because they look good)
The set would be for 10-16 people (1 table of 8-10 or 2 tables of 8)
I was thinking 2 barrels of 1k. But would another barrel of 5k make sense?

Welcome to PCF! Two barrels of 1k plus a barrel of 5k lets you run 16 hand T10k with 12/12/7/5 stacks and 5k chips for colorup. A barrel of 5ks lets you do rebuys or 20k stacks and still clean up the small chips. Not a bad option IMO.

2 barrels of 1k, but in all honesty I'd either sell some of the extra 25's or the 25k's to get both.

I agree with you on your point. But my OCD with having a full rack is annoying. Might have to bite the bullet and get both. The other bad thing is that the 1k's seem to be drying up. Last 4 months they were being sold on a weekly basis. Thanks for the help

I have a similar, but smaller, Horseshoe tourney set with a few 25,000 chips - they do look cool. I've thought about having them relabelled as 10,000 denoms, to make them useful for tourney rebuys for T10k stacks.

I would sell 150 $25s and 50 $100s. that would keep racks even

And I'd add 2 barrels of 1ks and relabel 25ks as 10ks so you can put them into play
