My earliest memory of waking up to music is when I was walking across the street with my Mother to the babysitter's house. I was three. The neighbors had an inchworm in their driveway and "Here Comes The Sun" was playing on the radio/8-track in their open garage.

Ughhhhhhh
please post month/year -- or at least year -- so I don't have to look it up. This is fun!
Well then, allow me a re-post..hahaha

In March of 1979, this hit by Gloria Gaynor which debuted in 1978, had reached number #1..

September 1980. Not Nile Rodgers’ best work. I’m Coming Out is a much better song.

If I had been born a week later, Another One Bites the Dust by Queen would have been my jam.

@Big Jilm I was planning to do a Nile Rodgers playlist in the What are you listening to? thread. Maybe I’ll get that done soon.
